Swat Treaty: A new Hope

Finally, President Asif Ali Zardari has signed a regulation imposing Islamic sharia law in the Swat valley as part of a deal to end Taliban violence. Critics say the government has caved in to militant pressure but many residents of Islamabad, said they hoped the agreement would bring peace after 18 months of bloodshed. Although, International lobby is active demolish the treaty by any means. But it seems that Pakistani Govt has finally decided to take a stand on American Policy, which is quiet underlying from last 10 years. Some days ago, two American officials were here to increase pressure on Pakistan's governing body but they failed to do so. It is also being heared that Gen Pasha also denied to meet with them. This shows a clear change in Pakistan's policy about US. The first result is the arrival of John Kerry, a moderate and well known american personal. He is here to smoothen all that. Becauser US also know that without Pakistan, the war on terror is not easy to win. So he needs Pakistan. But Pakistan, rather then taking advantage of this situation, was giving it advantage. But now it seems that the scene is gona change. Lets hope for good.

Where are we going?

It was last night when i was thinking about our country, our nation, our religion and many such things. Some things almost amazed me. I was thinking about the poblems in our country and devolpment in our country. I came to know that the fields which were our pride are now our biggest problem. Pakistan was a well known agriculture country and today we are importing basic entities like wheat, rice, potatos, onions etc. Textile was one of our biggest export and today our textile industries are just physically present. They are no more different from dead or barren land. But then i thought that why are we so quiet on all such things, may be because are having what we want. or we are given what we dont need right now. In this regard, i would mention the IT development in our country. You have to decide that wether so much penetration of IT, telecomunication was necessary in society. I know that many bright minded people will think that it is necessary for us to be counted among literate, civilized, modern people. but i think that there are many other things to be achieved for being a well developed and civilized nation. I will wait for ur opinions.

Two consecutive blasts

Things are going tooo quick here in pakistan. Almost daily, there is a blast in any area of Pakistan. Recentally two blasts hit two cities of Pakistan including capital, Islamabad. Very next day, next victim was Chakwal, a suicide attack on a religious gathering. Whats going on. No one has the answer. Let me tell you wats going on. We suddenly see a breaking news. Blast in certain area of Pakistan. We got shocked. As soon as we came to know that where it took place and no one from our blood relation is injured or dead, we calmed down. after that we see all the story just for information. Right after the incident, all the major leaders start giving ready made statemetns like we condemn this or we dont allow such attacks or we will kill all such ppls. On the other hand, No one talks about the person killed in the incident. Their families, childrens, mother, father etc. We just read that govt has give this amount for them. No one knows when and how they will get this amount. How many visits they have to made to govt institutions for this amount.
